So last week I wandered over to Brooke’s blog, Building a Kingston Castle, and she had a meal plan for the whole week. I used to do this all the time and kind of got away from it. Anyway, I told her if she did a linky for it, I would participate. It’s like blog love and meal plan accountability all at the same time. WIN!
We’ll see if we actually stick to this week’s plan or not since I’m pregnant and my food tastes vary from second to second. Lucky me.
Monday: Grandma’s Stuffed Peppers! (We were supposed to have them yesterday but I never stopped to pick them up. In my defense, I didn’t know I was supposed to stop and pick them up. I’m no mind reader!)
Tuesday: Go fetch night! Inherited from my friend Kerry, it’s the night where you either eat leftovers, make something yourself, or starve to death. Thankfully, we have good leftovers this week! (Baked spaghetti, Beef Bourguignon, and Baked pork chops) Would you believe that sometimes I just want Ramen? It’s true.
Wednesday: Chili! (because it’s freezing!)
Thursday: Paninis! We bought some country french bread from the bakery I used to work at and some good ham, turkey and cheddar cheese. I like putting spinach and tomatoes on mine too. I love doing Gruyere cheese and tomato paninis too, but Gruyere is a million dollars a pound right now. Boooo. Mmm… come on Thursday!
Friday: Date night? Have to take advantage of these Fridays as much as possible, ya know? Pretty soon date night will be Kraft Spirals and cheese with peas and a baby on my boob. SO. Romantic.

Kallaydoscope is my view of my world. It’s colorful and intriguing and also, kind of a mess, if not always highly entertaining.

Yay! Thanks for participating! That mac and cheese looks sooo yummy!
One of these days I’ll post the recipe. It’s really simple, but crazy good.
Don’t worry there are still ways to salvage date night. Even post baby(ies).Love the name of your site!
Thank you!
I’m hoping so! We’ll find out soon enough! I have a feeling our sex life will be little more than a high five in the hallway for a while. It’s all for a good cause! lol
Unfair, I am now STARVING.
Enjoy those date nights!
A meal plan is always such a great idea. I need to get back into the habit.
That mac and cheese looks SCRUMPTIOUS.
