I Believe…

{thanks!}

I Believe… in Jesus the Son, God the Father, and in Christ the Holy Spirit. God Bless!

I Believe… the reason for the Christmas season is to celebrate Christ’s birth. Merry Christmas!

I Believe… the reason for the Hanukkah season is to celebrate the Jewish people regaining control of Jerusalem and the rededication of the Temple. Happy Hanukkah!

I Believe… the reason for the Kwanzaa season is to celebrate the African American heritage and their culture. Happy Kwanzaa!

I Believe… the reason for the holiday season is to give love, hope, joy, peace, and if you are blessed with abundance, to give some of it away. Happy Holidays!

I Believe… the reason of the season is to celebrate not protest. Have a wonderful day!

I Believe… using my religion to degrade others would only degrade me.

I Believe… it is rude to ignore a greeting.

I Believe… my Christmas spirit does not rely upon whether or not I am able to give or receive a gift, even to/from my children.

I Believe… my Christmas spirit relies upon the happiness and joy that I create in my heart.

I Believe… happiness is a choice, not a condition.

I Believe… if you want to be sad, you’ll be sad; if you want to be angry, you’ll be angry; but if you want to be filled with joy, you will surely be joyous.

I Believe… if most people were positive thinkers, they would change the world.

I Believe… Saint Nicholas was a positive thinker who enjoyed giving to others and did so abundantly through his miracles and good deeds.

I Believe… the modern day Santa Claus is modeled after Saint Nicholas, but has been visually changed to suit our imaginations.

I Believe… imagination is a gift not to be wasted.

I Believe… the same of good cookies.

I Believe… there is no harm in letting a child believe in and model someone who does wonderful things for others.

I Believe… there is much harm in letting a child believe in and model someone who does wonderful things only for themselves.

I Believe… everyone has a reason to celebrate, even when they have much to mourn.

I Believe… in miracles.

I Believe… in angels.

I Believe… we have all experienced and received both.

And yes…

I Absolutely Believe… in Santa. In his goodness. In his jolliness. In his mission.

I Believe… the best things in life are not meant to be seen but simply believed.

Thank you…this was beautiful. And I really needed it. The birthday hasn’t gone exactly as planned and I was feeling a little sorry for myself. But this perked me back up and made me smile! Merry Christmas.

Right? I think the media definitely propels this thought processing people, too, which is so sad. What kind of people are they (the media) that they would try to put a dark cloud over every holiday season? It makes me sick.
